Two former Tennessee Volunteers, Dallas Thomas and Justin Hunter, have both signed their NFL contracts with their respective teams.
Hunter, a second round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans, signed a four-year deal worth $5.424 million, with a $2.324 millon bonus, according to Aaron Wilson of Scout.com.
The former Vol receiver’s deal is fully guaranteed the first two years. In 2015 Hunter will be guaranteed $460,000
The Titans, who traded up in the draft to select Hunter, have big expectations for the talented wide receiver. He’s been hampered by a hamstring injury early in minicamps, but the Titans are taking it slow with him, not wanting to rush him back onto the field and risk further injury.
Former Volunteers offensive lineman Dallas Thomas signed an undisclosed deal with the Miami Dolphins as well this weekend.
Thomas was drafted by the Dolphins in the third round of the draft and although he was limited during rookie minicamps, he’s now out on the field practicing. Thomas is a very versatile offensive lineman that will provide the Dolphins with plenty of depth in the trenches.
