Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com seems to think that Da’Rick Rogers is in good shape to make the Bill’s final roster.
"I think among the undrafteds, Da’Rick Rogers and Nickell Robey have both put themselves in good position to land a roster spot, but it’s early and it’s still not real football. The two of them have not looked out of place in practice and have made plays regularly."
In my mind there’s no doubt that Rogers will make the Bill’s final 53 man roster.
In fact I still believe Rogers was one of the top three or four wide receivers available in the draft this year. Yes, I know he has some baggage and he’s a risk, but that doesn’t really factor into what he can do on the field.
Aside from on minor taunting incident, which really wasn’t a big deal, Rogers has had no issues whatsoever as a member of the Buffalo Bills.
With all that said, I believe the question that should be asked is not “Will Da’Rick Rogers make the Bill’s final roster?”, but rather “Will Da’Rick Rogers contend for a starting spot with the Bills?”.
Rogers has what it takes to be a pro-bowl caliber receiver in the NFL, hopefully the Bills don’t look at him as a typical undrafted free agent, but a player that’s capable of being a game-changer, because that’s exactly what he can be.
