Another day, another commit.

So it goes for fans of the University of Tennessee these days.

The most recent player to commit to the Vols is 2014 linebacker Gavin Bryant, from Jackson, AL (Jackson).

Bryant is rated by 247Sports as a four-star prospect. He stands 6’1″ and weighs in at 222 lbs.

Alabama was considered the heavy favorite to land the talented linebacker, all seven “crystal ball predictions” on 247Sports had him going to the Crimson Tide.

Butch Jones was questioned early on about his ability to recruit outside of Tennessee, this past week he’s ended any doubt that fans may still had.

Bryant is a huge get for the Vols and should contribute immediately in 2014, especially with the possibility that Vols junior linebacker A.J. Johnson could be moving on after this season (to the NFL).
