1.  Joey Kent (1993-96)

Joey Kent is the all-time leader at Tennessee with 183 catches, 2,814 yards, and 25 touchdowns.  His extraordinary career lands him number one on this list and it isn’t even close.  He was Peyton Manning’s go-to receiver for three years, and broke every meaningful career wide receiver record.

Tennessee has always had elite wide receivers.  Names like Alvin Harper, Thomas Woods, Jermaine Copeland, Jayson Swain, Anthony Hancock, Lucas Taylor, Johnny Mills, and Dante Stallworth are all worth noting in Tennessee’s rich wide receiver tradition.  With the Vols ability to recruit top-notch receivers, look for many more pass-catchers to add to the reason why Tennessee is known as Wide Receiver U.
