Tyre Brady, a recent Kentucky commit, may have to ponder his decision more than he anticipated, as he’s now picked up an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers.
Brady, 6’3″/187, committed to the Wildcats last week. He’s rated as a three-star wide receiver by 247Sports.
The Homestead, FL (South Dade) native is not listed among those committed to the Wildcats on the 247Sports network, but Rivals does list him as a commit. There seems to have been some debate as to the status of Brady’s offer from the Wildcats.
Brady is a bit taller than the receivers we’ve seen commit so far to Butch Jones, but Jones does seem to like bigger receivers playing on the outside.
In addition to Brady’s offers from the Vols and the Wildcats, he also holds offers from Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Miami, Minnesota, Mississippi State, UCF and Western Kentucky.
The Vols already have several wide receivers that have committed, and several more that could be in the near future (Dominique Booth and Josh Malone are both possibilities), so it’s still unclear if there would be room for Brady, if he decided to decommit from Kentucky.
