The Vol Walk began when Tennessee took on Alabama on October 20, 1990. It’s been a sacred Volunteer tradition ever since.
The Vol Walk typically begins two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff.
The team walks past the torchbearer statue, down Peyton Manning Pass (formerly Yale Avenue) to Phillip Fulmer Way, before entering the stadium at gate 21A.
The Pride of the Southland Band begins it’s march an hour and 40 minutes before kickoff, making for the one the craziest pre-game atmospheres you’ll find on a Saturday.
