As you’re probably aware by now, the Vols added another brick to their foundation on Tuesday.
Four-star defensive end DaVonte Lambert made it semi-official when he tweeted that he’d be playing for the Vols. Of course it won’t be technically official until National Signing Day, but for now he’s a Vol.
As you’re also probably aware, coaches are not allowed to mention recruits by name in the media, not even social media, per NCAA rules.
Coaches often send cryptic celebratory tweets acknowledging a commitment and that’s exactly what happened today after Lambert’s commitment.
