No team has experienced despair at the wide receiver position quite like the Chargers have this off-season.
So far the Chargers have lost Danario Alexander to a knee injury and Eddie Royal is out indefinitely with a concussion.
In addition to the injuries, last year’s free agent acquisition Robert Meachem has failed to live up to expectations and continues to struggle in training camp.
The Chargers’ healthiest receivers Malcom Floyd, Keenan Allen and Vincent Brown are all battling nagging injuries as well.
Da’Rick Rogers would add some much, much needed depth and could be a true number one receiver eventually for first year head coach Mike McCoy.
