Can The Vols Keep The Momentum Going?

Even though Tennessee lost to Georgia in overtime, they turned in their best performance of the season.

Then they promptly had a scheduled week off.

A lot of times teams come back flat after a bye-week.

But not Butch Jones led teams.

Jones went 4-1 after bye weeks while at Cincinnati. His lone defeat was a 37-10 loss to West Virginia.

The Vols kept the momentum going off the field during the bye week. Tennessee picked up two commitments (Dontavius Blair and Derek Barnett) and had the huge Bristol announcement on Monday.

Now they’ll have to prove they can keep that momentum going on the field.
