What I said on Friday:

"The Missouri Tigers have been the story of the SEC so far this season. Missouri is the only undefeated team left in the SEC East. They’re coming off a huge win on the road against Georgia. There’s no reason to think they won’t keep that up against a weakened Florida team, right? Wrong. The Tigers weren’t able to escape Athens without major consequences. James Franklin, Missouri’s starting QB, was injured and will be out a few weeks. I think the Gators will come into Faurot Field and put an end to Missouri’s dream season on Saturday. Florida 20 Missouri 17"

I couldn’t have been more wrong about this game — and Missouri.

For starters, Florida’s offense is beyond bad at this point. They couldn’t get anything going against Missouri at all.

As far as Missouri goes, well Maty Mauk proved he was a more than capable backup to James Franklin.

Mauk threw for 295 yards in his first career start.

The SEC East better watch out. The Tigers all of a sudden have a two-game lead.
