Here’s another tale of two teams that are trending in different directions.

The Gamecocks, coming off a loss against unranked Tennessee, will be looking to rebound with Dylan Thompson under center.

Connor Shaw, who was injured against Tennessee, hasn’t been completely ruled out, but Thompson will start anyway.

Missouri is coming off another big win against Florida and so far the Tigers have been the surprise of the SEC. At 7-0 they’re one of two undefeated teams in the SEC (Alabama the other) and have put themselves in the drivers seat in the SEC East.

Missouri can lose a game and still make the SEC championship game.

I think South Carolina rebounds and gives them that first loss of the season on Saturday.
