The Tennessee Volunteers will head to Tuscaloosa  to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide later this afternoon.

The Vols are coming off a huge win over South Carolina. The win was their first in nearly four years over a ranked opponent.

With the win, and the performance, the Volunteers proved that Butch Jones isn’t just all about fancy phrases and saying the right thing. He’s about winning, and that’s the attitude he’s bringing to Rocky Top.

It’ll be incredibly difficult for Tennessee to upset the two-time defending national champions, especially on their home field. The Vols will have to play the same kind of defense they did against South Carolina, but they’ll also have to make drastic improvements on offense.

The Vols struggled to establish the run against South Carolina. If they have any plans of leaving Tuscaloosa with a win, they’ll have to commit to the run early and often.

Here’s all the game-day info you’ll need in advance today’s installment of this historic rivalry game.
