Things got off to a terrible start against Alabama on Saturday. The Crimson Tide opened up a 35-0 halftime lead.

Things went from worse to bad as Justin Worley had to take a seat with an injured thumb.

Worley injured the thumb last week against South Carolina and it was visibly bothering him on several plays today. Worley was 8/17 for 121 yards and two interceptions before leaving the game.

True freshman Josh Dobbs replaced Worley in the game.

Riley Ferguson was believed to be ahead of Dobbs on the depth chart, but he’s banged up as well this week.

This is Dobb’s first game action of the year, which effectively burns his redshirt.
