The Tennessee Volunteers are proving their recruiting momentum that has been building since February is no flash in the pan.

On Monday morning the Vols received commitments from two of their top targets, Vol legacies Evan and Elliot Berry.

Another top target of the Vols, 2015 four star defensive tackle Keiron Howard, told the world where the Vols stood in his recruiting process as of Monday.

Howard is a 6’4″/295 lb defensive tackle from Oxon Hill, MD (Potomac). He’s the teammate of 2014 Vol commit Jerome Dews.

247Sports rates Howard as the 22nd best 2015 DT in the nation and 8th best player in the state of Maryland.

Surprisingly, Howard doesn’t have a very impressive list of offers just yet. Aside from Tennessee, his only other offers are from Hampton and Temple.

You can definitely expect that to be changing in the near future.

The Vols currently have six 2015 commits, which is tied for second most with Michigan (Texas has the most with nine). Tennessee’s 2015 class is rated as the fourth-best in the nation.
