On Monday the SEC announced the game on November 30 between the Tennessee Volunteers and Kentucky Wildcats will kick off at 7:00 PM ET and will be televised on ESPNU.

This will be the the Vols’ third 7:00 PM ET kick-off this season (Missouri and Vanderbilt being the others).

Tennessee finds themselves in the exact same situation as they were last season. The Vols need to win their final two games to become bowl eligible.

The Volunteers take on Vanderbilt this upcoming Saturday, which is a must win game for the Volunteers if they want the Kentucky game to hold any importance.

Tennessee is 75-24-9 all time against Kentucky.

Prior to 2011, they had not lost to the Wildcats since 1984.

The Vols lost 10-7 in Lexington in 2011 in an embarrassing loss that prevented Tennessee from becoming bowl eligible.

There’s a much different feeling on Rocky Top this year, even with an identical record as the past two seasons with two games left on the schedule.

The Vols have considerably less talent than the past two seasons (at least on offense) and the team is finally trending up.
