Auburn did nothing to fall in the power rankings. It was more that Missouri earned the right to move up a spot.
Auburn could leap frog Missouri and jump to number one in the power rankings with a win over Alabama in the Iron Bowl this upcoming weekend.
The Tigers have had an extra week to prepare for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide, but as any football fan will tell you — there’s never enough time to prepare for Alabama.
