Another 2015 Florida area player received an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers on Wednesday.
Patchan is a 6’5″/230 lb defensive end from Tampa, FL (Freedom). 247Sports rates Patchan as a three-star defensive end. He also has offers from Miami, Ohio State, Mississippi State and Notre Dame, among many others.
Tennessee is apparently hitting the Florida area hard this week. The Vols also offered Deon Cain — also a recruit from Florida — on Wednesday.
You can check out Patchan’s highlights at the link below.
At first glance you can tell that Patchan is an extremely athletic defensive end. His 40 time is 4.53, which is quick for a defensive end.
The Vols’ defensive line is a continued issue and the depth there is lacking. Patchan would be a very nice addition to the 2015 class.
