2014 Opponent: Georgia (9/27/14 @ Sanford Stadium)

Georgia, despite playing without star quarterback Aaron Murray, nearly came away with a win against Nebraska in the Gator Bowl, but they weren’t able to close the deal late, losing 24-19.

The Bulldogs finished the season with an 8-5 record.

The Vols have come up just short against Georgia two seasons in a row. The Vols nearly beat the Bulldogs this past season in Neyland Stadium, leading late but eventually losing in overtime.

Tennessee should again have a good shot at beating the Bulldogs in 2014, as Georgia will be losing some key players.
