When you go to see a movie, you typically get in your car, head to the movie theater and enjoy.

When the Tennessee Volunteers football team goes to the movies, it goes complete with police escort and apparently a rented-out theater.

We can’t be sure that the theater was reserved solely for the UT football team, but from the looks of it in the above picture, it would appear that way.

The Vols took in “Lone Survivor”, which according to IMDB “tells the incredible tale of four Navy SEALs on a covert mission to neutralize a high-level al-Qaeda operative who are ambushed by the enemy in the mountains of Afghanistan.”

Some folks on Twitter took issue with the Vols using a police escort to head to the movies, but Tennessee football is royalty in East Tennessee, so what would you expect?

Butch Jones is a master at team building. This is just another small and subtle example of just that.
