Tennessee’s Deal With Nike To Begin July 1, 2015

As we mentioned earlier today, Tennessee announced they would be parting ways with Adidas when their contract is up and switch to Nike.
The school announced on Friday afternoon that their partnership with Nike will begin on July 1, 2015.
According to a release from the school, the partnership will run through June 30, 2023.
Fans will be able to begin purchasing Tennessee Nike gear in July, 2015.
The school will receive a $2 Million signing bonus as a result of the new partnership.
Tennessee will get $3.4 Million worth of equipment/apparel the first year of the contract and anywhere from $2.6 to $3.2 million the following years.
The Vols will also a get a base compensation of $7.6 million over the life of the contract, as well as getting to keep 13% of apparel sales.
