Tennessee @ Oklahoma — September 13

Last season the Vols traveled to Eugene, OR to play the second part of a home-and-home series with the Oregon Ducks.

The Vols were destroyed in both matchups with the Ducks (the first matchup was in Knoxville in 2010).

Tennessee now moves on to another brutal home-and-home series with the Oklahoma Sooners.

Oklahoma is coming off an 11-2 season that was capped off with a dominating 45-31 win against Alabama in the Orange Bowl.

The Vols will travel to Norman in year one of the home-and-home series.

Tennessee will be a heavy underdog in this game — and by all means they should be.

The Sooners should win handily against the Volunteers, but that doesn’t mean Tennessee can’t turn this game into a valuable teaching tool.

Butch Jones will have his team prepared, but the gap in talent and experience will be too much for the Vols to handle.

Prediction: Vols lose (2-1)
