Tennessee @ Georgia — September 27

The game between Tennessee and Georgia last season gave us our first glimpse into what is possible under Butch Jones.

The Vols had lost games to Oregon and Florida and were coming off an uninspiring win against South Alabama.

To put it lightly — the honeymoon was over.

The Vols fell behind 17-3 by halftime against Georgia and the big orange faithful were growing restless.

Then the Vols showed something they hadn’t displayed in the three previous seasons.

Fight.

The Vols fought back and eventually took the lead, before losing a heartbreaker in overtime.

This time the field of play will shift to Athens and the Bulldogs will be healthy, albeit with a new quarterback in place.

I think the game will once again be close, but Georgia will pull it out against the Vols once again.

Prediction: Vols lose (2-2)
