Alabama @ Tennessee — October 25

The Tennessee-Alabama rivalry heated up a bit this past off-season when the Crimson Tide hired former Vols head coach Lane Kiffin as offensive coordinator.

Kiffin, who infamously bolted from Knoxville after just one season to take the head coaching job at USC, will have to step back into Neyland Stadium just four years after his abrupt departure.

Obviously this game will have a lot of attention surrounding it because of Kiffin’s return.

With all that pushed aside there’s still no way Tennessee breaks through against Alabama in 2014. The programs are at two different places and while Tennessee is on the way up, they just aren’t at a place yet where they can compete with Bama.

Prediction: Vols lose (4-4)
