Shy Tuttle — Defensive Tackle — 5-Star — 6’3″/315 — Lexington, NC (North Davidson)
If the Vols want to alleviate their defensive line woes, then adding one of the top five defensive tackles in the nation would be a great start.
Shy Tuttle is a massive defensive tackle that has offers ranging from Alabama to Texas.
Tuttle is surprisingly quick for a player his size and can get after the quarterback in a hurry, but obviously his greatest strength will be stopping the run. He’s an elite talent that would have a huge impact for the Vols almost immediately.
As with any elite five-star player, the Vols will have a tough battle ahead of them if they plan on getting a commitment from Tuttle.
