The #11 seeded Tennessee Volunteers will take on the #14 seeded Mercer Bears on Sunday afternoon for a trip to the Sweet 16.
The Vols (23-12) will also be looking for a little revenge, as Mercer (27-8) ended Tennessee’s season last year with a 75-67 win in the opening round of the NIT.
Tennessee will have a tough matchup in Mercer and some have even theorized that Duke, the team Mercer upset in the first round, might have been a better matchup for the Vols.
We’ll know if that’s true or not around 6:10 this evening.
Until then, here’s all the information you need for tonight’s game.
