Jordan Cornish, updating a previous report, has officially been released from his National Letter of Intent, according to Knoxville News Sentinel writer Ben Frederickson.

Cornish is reportedly considering a transfer to SMU. He’s the second Vol player to be released from their NLI today.

Point guard Larry Austin was also released from his NLI on Wednesday.

It’s a tough start for new Tennessee head coach Donnie Tyndall as he now has four scholarships to try and fill this upcoming season.
