Three-star cornerback/kick-returner Jaylon Lane received an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers on Monday evening.
Lane, a 6’1″/177 lb native of Nacogdoches, TX (Nacogdoches), is rated as the 54th best player in the state of Texas and the 37th best cornerback in the nation in 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Lane looks like he could be a dynamic kick-returner at the next level.
When you consider the importance that Butch Jones puts on special teams, then you can bet he’ll make Lane a priority.
Lane, despite his rating as a three-star recruit, has an impressive list of offers.
Some of his more notable offers include: Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Oklahoma, LSU and Texas A&M, in addition to many others.
Lane also picked up an offer from Penn State on Monday.
