Donnie Tyndall is being forced to pick up the pieces of the Vols’ 2014 recruiting class one recruit at at time.
On Friday he picked up a big piece, adding 6’7″ forward Jabari McGhee.
McGhee is a three-star forward from Albany, GA (Hargrave Military Academy. He had offers from Auburn, Georgia and Florida Gulf coast, among others.
It’s a great pickup for the Vols, especially after all four of their signees asked to be released from their respective NLI’s.
McGhee arrived in Knoxville on Thursday for a visit and was impressed enough to commit on Friday, with the intention of signing on Saturday.
A new era of Tennessee basketball is under way. Now it’s time to see if Tyndall can change the rocky culture on Rocky Top.
