Five-star dual-threat quarterback Torrance Gibson is one of the nation’s most highly coveted recruits.

And the Tennessee Volunteers are the team to beat to get him.

Gibson named the Vols as his leaders on Monday night. Tennessee is one of five SEC schools, along with Auburn, LSU, Florida and Alabama to make Gibson’s top 15.

The Fort Lauderdale, FL (American Heritage) native has three in-state schools (Florida, Miami and UCF) in his top 15. In April he he said there is an 85% chance he would be leaving the state of Florida to play his college football.

Tennessee has went all out recruiting Gibson. He’s easily the most important 2015 recruit to the Volunteers.

There’s obviously a long way to go in Gibson’s recruitment, but the Vols are in sitting pretty as of right now.

Of course things can change quickly in the world of recruiting, so Tennessee will have to continue with their all-out pursuit of Gibson.

The highly touted recruit told us on Thursday night that he has yet to set a date to announce his commitment.
