Quay Picou, a 2015 four-star defensive tackle from Buford, GA, picked up an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers on Tuesday, according to Kipp Adams of 247Sports.

Picou is rated as the 31st best player in the state of Georgia and the 21st best defensive tackle in the nation by 247Sports.

The Georgia native currently has offers from Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Kentucky, Miami, Missouri, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Wake Forest, among several others.

Quay Picou Highlights

Picou, at 6’3″/287 lbs, still has room to grow as a defensive tackle, but some time in a collegiate strength and conditioning program should remedy that. He does, however, have good body control and is very athletic for a player of his size.

Overall, Picou is the type of player that could be very beneficial to Tennessee, given their current lack of depth along the defensive line.
