4. Rasham Suarez

When Willie Carmichael spoke about being released from his Letter of Intent, he hinted that his transfer might be a package deal for whatever university lands him.

Carmichael is close friends with 6-3 point guard Rasham Suarez of the College of Central Florida, an Ocala-based junior college. While Suarez is still currently signed on with Southern Miss and has not yet made up his mind about his future, the two have at least discussed the idea of making the jump to another university together.

According to the National Junior College Athletic Association website, Suarez averaged 14.9 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds per game as a sophomore last season. He helped lead Central Florida to a NJCAA national championship as a freshman, and he also has a relationship with Donnie Tyndall.

Suarez would have two years of eligibility upon signing, and his relationship with Carmichael and Tyndall may be the key factor in his recruitment. The Vols are desperate for a point guard, and Suarez would certainly fill a need for the Vols.
