It turns out that Donnie Tyndall has a few tricks up his sleeve afterall.
Just a few days after adding shooting guard Kevin Punter, Tyndall brought down the house with the addition of four-star shooting guard Detrick Mostella.
Tennessee basketball was considered doomed by everyone next season with the loss of their entire 2014 signing class.
But Donnie Tyndall didn’t panic. He just went out and recruited his tail off.
Mostella, the Vols’ latest signee, is a 6’3″/170 lb shooting guard from Decatur, Ala. He attended Notre Dame Preparatory School in Massachusetts.
The Alabama native originally signed with Oklahoma State, but was granted a release which ultimately led to him landing with Tennessee.
The Vols’ 2014 class is starting to shape up nicely.
The rumors of the demise of Tennessee basketball have been greatly exaggerated.
This is the beginning of a new era on Rocky Top and I think the Vols will be just fine.
