Former Vol Alex Bullard made it five-for-five for the 2013 Vols’ offensive line.

Bullard tweeted that he’s joining the Detroit Lions, which means all five of the Vols’ starting offensive linemen are on an NFL roster — for now.

Bullard was the Vols’ starting left guard in 2011 and 2013. He was shifted to a reserve role in 2012 when Dallas Thomas moved to left guard to make room for Antonio Richardson at left tackle.

The former Vol will offer the Detroit Lions a ton of versatility. He can play pretty much anywhere on the offensive line.

That versatility, combined with his SEC experience, means he should have a pretty good shot to make the Lions’ 53 man roster this fall.

Of course that’s no guarantee, but as far as undrafted free agents go, Bullard is a pretty good option.
