Vols Commit Preston Williams Makes Big Jump In Rivals 250
By Zach Ragan
Part of landing an elite quarterback is having an array of weapons on the roster — especially at wide receiver.
The Vols already have several quality wide receivers on their roster to entice potential 2015 quarterbacks.
They also have a commitment from one of the top 2015 wide receivers in the nation, Preston Williams.
Williams, who recently shut down his recruitment, is a 6’4″/180 lb four-star wide receiver from Hampton, GA (Lovejoy) and his stock is on the rise.
The Vol commit rose 84 spots to #63 overall in the Rivals 250 rankings that were released on Tuesday afternoon.
Williams is one of the centerpieces of Tennessee’s 2015 class. He’s a long, quick wide receiver that instantly reminds you of former UT standout Justin Hunter.
If Williams turns out to be half as productive as Hunter, then Tennessee has a quality player on their hands.
The Georgia native is one of three 2015 Volunteer commits in updated Rivals 250 rankings.

The Vols also have several targets in the Rivals 250, including cornerback Ugo Amadi, quarterback Deondre Francois and OL Tyree St. Louis.
