Tennessee Football: Michal Menet Offered By Vols

Michal Menet, a four-star 2016 offensive tackle from Reading, PA (Exeter), was offered by the Tennessee Volunteers on Monday.

Menet, 6’5″/250 lbs, is rated by 247Sports as the top player in the state of Pennsylvania and the ninth best offensive tackle in the nation.

The talented offensive lineman has notable offers from Florida State, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State and South Carolina, among several others.

It’s quite clear that Menet is deserving of his rating as one of the top offensive linemen in the country.

It won’t be easy for Tennessee to go head to head with schools like Penn State and Ohio State in the middle of Big 10 country.

But Butch Jones and UT running backs coach Robert Gillespie are familiar with Pennsylvania from their days at West Virginia. Tennessee, for that reason, could very well end up being a dark-horse to watch in Menet’s recruitment.
