Clark Yarbrough, a 2016 offensive tackle from Woodberry Forest, VA (Woodberry Forest), was offered by the Tennessee Volunteers on Monday.
Yarbrough is rated by 247Sports as a four-star offensive lineman, the third best player in Virginia and the 11th best offensive tackle in the nation.
Yarbrough currently holds offers from Duke, Florida, Maryland, UCF, Virginia and Wake Forest, in addition to his offer from the Vols.
The Virginia native would be a nice addition for Tennessee. The Vols have zero depth along their offensive line.
Even though UT has recruited the position well since Butch Jones’ arrival, they still are nowhere close to where they need to be. A lot of the players that have been signed under Jones are going to be forced into a very prominent role early in their careers.
Adding a player like Yarbrough would help the Vols to regain some of the depth they lost from this past season.
There are currently five 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for Yarbrough and they all point to Virginia. That could change in the comings months, however, as the offers start to pile in for the talented 2016 recruit.
