Another day, another top ten list.
So it goes in the world of college football recruiting.
This time the Tennessee Volunteers find themselves in 2015 four-star linebacker Tevon Coney’s top ten schools.
Coney, a native of Palm Beach Gardens, FL (Palm Beach Gardens), is rated by 247Sports as the 38th best player in the state of Florida and the 12th best inside-linebacker in the nation. He was offered by the Vols on January 29.
Coney is considered by most analysts as a Florida Gators lock. All 21 of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions have Coney committing to Florida.
The Vols are still prepared to make a strong run at the 6’2″/225 lb Florida native. Tennessee will be looking to replace their star middle linebacker A.J. Johnson after the 2014 season.
That player might already be on the Vols’ roster, but then again it could be a player like Tevon Coney.
