Five Vols Pick Up Preseason All-SEC Honors

Five Vols have picked up preseason All-SEC honors in five different college football preview publications, according to a release from Tennessee.
Senior linebacker A.J. Johnson also picked up All-American honors from four of the publications.

- Preseason Third Team All-SEC: S Brian Randolph

It would not surprise me at all to see Marquez North and Cam Sutton be on the first or second team lists by the end of the season. Both played a huge role with the Volunteers in 2013 as true freshmen and they proved they were deserving of their starting roles.
Another name to watch for to be on these lists by the end of the season is Marlin Lane. I know Jalen Hurd is the word (yes I just did that) in Knoxville, but Lane has improved tremendously and could breakout this season now that he’s out from under the shadow of Rajion Neal.
