The Tennessee Volunteers offered 2016 wide receiver Binjimen Victor on Thursday.
Victor is a 6’4″/170 lb four-star wide receiver from Ft. Lauderdale, FL (Coconut Creek). He is rated as the 35th best player in the state of Florida and the 58th best wide receiver in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
The Florida native has offers from Auburn, Miami and West Virginia, among several others.
Butch Jones and the Tennessee coaching staff have done a tremendous job so far of maintaining the Vols’ identity of “Wide Receiver U”.
Since Jones took over at Tennessee, the Vols have added wide receivers such as Marquez North, Josh Malone and Von Pearson. Tennessee also has a commitment from 2015 stud wide receiver Preston Williams, a 6’5″ five-star recruit from Hampton, GA (Lovejoy).
Benjimen Victor will be a hard player to pull out of South Florida. Schools like Miami and Florida State will be all over Victor and I’d be surprised to see him commit to an out-of-state school.
Victor did tell us, however, on Friday night that Tennessee is a place he’d consider, but don’t expect him to be releasing a list of top schools any time soon. He said he has “lots of time”, but added that he loves the Vols.
