2015 Tight end Kyle Oliver, who was offered by the Vols last Thursday, committed to Tennessee on Sunday night, according to 247Sports.
Oliver is a three-star recruit from Murfreesboro, TN (Oakland). He is the high school teammate of current 2015 Vol commit Jack Jones.
The 6’5″/228 lb tight end will give the Vols another solid receiving option in their 2015 recruiting class.
Tennessee’s offense, according to offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian, will feature the tight ends more in 2014.
Oliver likely would’ve committed anyway, but that comment from Bajakian certainly had to be encouraging for the Tennessee native.
The Vols had a very impressive recruiting haul this weekend, picking up four commitments.
A sleeping giant could be awakening soon on Rocky Top.
