Vols Basketball: Raymond Spalding Offered By Tennessee

facebooktwitterreddit

Raymond Spalding, a 6’9″/200 lb 2015 power forward from Louisville, KY (Trinity), has been offered by the Tennessee Volunteers.

Spalding is rated by 247Sports as the top 2015 player in the state of Kentucky and the 16th best power forward in the nation.

The four-star Kentucky native has quite a few notable offers, as you can imagine. He’s been offered by Boston College, Butler, Clemson, Louisville, Indiana, Northwestern and Vanderbilt, among several others.

Spalding unofficially visited Tennessee at the end of June, according to 247Sports.

It’s going to be very tough for the Volunteers to land Spalding over schools like Louisville or Indiana.

And if Kentucky offers….well you can probably forget it.

The Vols will be able to offer the impressive power forward plenty of playing time, but that shouldn’t be an issue for Spalding, regardless of where he attends college.

It would obviously be a huge get if Tennessee was somehow able to get a commitment from Spalding, but I wouldn’t be on the lookout for one.
