If the Vols are looking to improve their size on the offensive line, then they can’t miss the mammoth Isaiah Prince.

Prince is 6-7, 280 lbs and hails from Greenbelt, Maryland. The massive offensive tackle is a 4-star prospect that ranks as the No. 93 player overall and the No. 1 player in Maryland. He holds offers from 21 different schools, and many elite programs are in the running to land his signature come National Signing Day.

Most guys Prince’s size are lumbering behemoths who simply take up space and absorb blockers on the interior. But Prince is surprisingly quick for his size, running the 40-yard dash in 5 seconds flat and possesses good quickness and footwork. His athleticism allows him to play at offensive tackle, and that’s where he projects to play in college as well.

Maryland has made every effort to keep Prince in state, and so far they’ve made a good impression on him. He last visited the Terrapins on June 28th, and they’ve recruited him heavily.

Many teams are pursuing Prince, and it seems as though Maryland, Alabama, Florida, Auburn, and Ohio State are the front runners. Tennessee has made good headway, but at this point they might be on the outside looking in. Look for Prince to land elsewhere, but don’t be surprised if the Vols make a stronger push to sign this huge offensive tackle.
