Rocky Reid, who committed to the Vols shortly after Tennessee’s 2014 spring game, is a running back that brings a bigger frame to the Vols’ backfield.
Reid is a bruiser that rushed for 3,355 yards as a junior at Concord High School. He’ll likely be buried beneath Jalen Hurd and Alvin Kamara on the Vols’ depth chart.
However, Reid is a guy that could excel in goal line and short yardage situations.
He’s a great addition to the Vols’ 2015 recruiting class and gives Tennessee plenty of depth at the running back position.
