"The statistics from Year 1 of Butch Jones’s tenure don’t suggest that Tennessee is a place a tight end would want to play.The position produced a total of 15 receptions last season, accounting for just 7.8 percent of the team’s receptions. Those 15 catches went for a total of 98 yards, just less than five percent of Tennessee’s total passing yardage. There were three straight weeks — blowout losses to Alabama, Missouri and Auburn — in which a Tennessee tight end didn’t catch a pass.
