Former Vols WR Commits To Louisville

Former Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Paul Harris, who left the program after one season, committed to the Louisville Cardinals on Monday morning, according to multiple reports.

Harris was originally a three-star recruit out of high school from Upper Marlboro, MD (Frederick Douglass). He was an early enrollee at Tennessee as a freshman.

The Maryland native had a solid camp with the Vols in 2013, but saw very little playing time last season. Harris played in five games and made one catch for 15 yards (in the opener against Austin Peay).

Harris enrolled at Iowa Western Community College after departing from Knoxville this past December.

The 6’4″/200 lb wide receiver drew comparisons to former Vol wide receiver Justin Hunter during his short stint on Rocky Top. He was thought of as a guy that had a lot of potential. Harris should be a good fit in Bobby Petrino’s offense at Louisville.
