Vols TE Ethan Wolf Questionable For Oklahoma Game

The Vols dodged a bullet with tight end Ethan Wolf’s injury.

Butch Jones announced on Monday that Wolf, who was injured in Tennessee’s win over Arkansas State, is questionable for the Oklahoma game this Saturday with a bruised knee.

That is fantastic news for the Vols.

Wolf has provided Tennessee with an element to their game that was lacking last season. The Vols received very little production from their tight ends in 2013 and true freshman Wolf has already changed that in 2014.

So far in two games this season, Wolf has eight receptions for 46 yards. He led the Volunteers in receptions against Arkansas State this past Saturday.

The Vols will already be without wide receiver Von Pearson against Oklahoma, they really can’t afford to be down another main offensive weapon.

I think Wolf will play against Oklahoma. At least Tennessee fans better hope he plays. The Vols will need all the help they can get on the road against one of the top teams in the nation.
