If the Vols can find a way to safeguard the rest of their team against sprained ankles, they should probably go ahead and do that.
Wide receivers Von Pearson and Josh Smith have already suffered sprained ankles in 2014.
You can now add true freshman tight end Daniel Helm to that list.

The Vols can’t afford to lose anymore tight end depth, as starting tight end Ethan Wolf missed the Oklahoma game with a bum knee.
Fortunately for the Vols, both players are expected back for Tennessee’s game against Georgia, after the bye week.
Butch said "expects" both Ethan Wolf and Daniel Helm to be available for Georgia.

It’s no coincidence that without Wolf in the lineup against the Sooners, the Vols had no receptions among the tight ends that played.
Wolf has played extremely well for UT during the first two games of the season. Tennessee will definitely need him against Georgia if they are to upset the Bulldogs in Athens.
Suffice it to say, the bye week could not have come at a better time for the Vols.
