Florida Gators @ Tennessee Vols: Kickoff Time Set

The kickoff time for the Tennessee Vols’ home game against the Florida Gators on October 4 was announced on Monday.
Tennessee and Florida will kickoff at 12:00 PM ET and the game will air on the SEC Network.
The Vols will be looking to beat Florida for the first time since true freshman quarterback Erik Ainge led Tennessee to a victory over the Gators in 2004.
A lot of folks believe this will be Tennessee’s best chance to beat Florida in the last decade.
I am among those that think that way, but it’s still far from a certainty that Tennessee can beat the Gators.
Florida’s secondary is definitely less than stellar this season, but their defensive line could wreak havoc in the Vols’ backfield.
Even if Tennessee can get the vertical game going against Florida, they’ll still have to find a way to run the ball.
The Vols have struggled to find any sort of rhythm in the running game through their first three games of the season. It should get better as the offensive line progresses, but they still have a long way to go.
Tennessee will first take on Georgia this Saturday at 12:00 PM ET before returning to Knoxville for the Florida game.
