A group of Vol fans, perhaps inspired by Oklahoma’s striping of Gaylord Family Memorial Stadium during their September 13 matchup against Tennessee, are pushing to “checker” Neyland Stadium for Tennessee’s game against Florida on October 4.
Below is the original concept, created by Vol fan Spencer Barnett (@CleVOLander)
If Oklahoma can stripe their stands in shirts, I don't see why this can't be done in Neyland.... #VolArtConcept pic.twitter.com/H6jYHMI2Qx

There is now a website up where Vol fans can find out which color shirt they need to wear, based on which section they’re sitting in.

This is a tremendous idea and if fans pull it off, it would definitely be a site to see.
Of course the only problem is getting 102,000 fans to check the site and follow suit.
If any school can do it though, it would be Tennessee. The Vols have arguably the most active fan base when it comes to Twitter/Facebook.
If you’re heading to the Florida game, make sure to check the site (CheckerNeyland.com) to see which shirt you should wear.
And don’t forget to spread the word.
