Vols Football: Lil Jon Makes Appearance On The Rock

There’s been a lot of talk about Lil Jon and the Tennessee Volunteers this week.

Some Vol fans think Lil Jon is coming to Neyland on Saturday, after a Twitter exchange between the official Vol football account and Lil Jon’s account.

Lil Jon’s schedule, however, has the Atlanta based rapper scheduled to perform in South Africa.

But that didn’t stop Vol fans from bringing Lil Jon to campus.

The iconic rock on Tennessee’s campus now features the face of Lil Jon.

And take this for what it’s worth, but Tennessee assistant strength coach Ike Brown tweeted that Lil Jon “might be in Neyland Saturday to support us”.

I’m not sure what time Lil Jon is scheduled to perform in South Africa on Saturday, but it’s worth noting there is a six hour time difference between South Africa and Knoxville.

Even if Lil Jon just shows up via a prerecorded video message, it’s still great exposure for the Volunteers.
